The Mildura Military Rifle & Pistol Club (formed as the Mildura Military Rifle Club) was the first sub-club of the SSAA Mildura Branch.
The inaugural meeting was held at the Mildura South Football Clubrooms with about 20 to 30 members present.
These original members were the stalwarts of the current club that worked so long and hard to make the SSAA Mildura Branch what it is today.
Using working bees to generate funds so that we could erect shooting lines and shade cover, toilet blocks and BBQ areas, clubrooms and target frames.
The Military Rifle & Pistol Club is one of the friendliest and most sociable clubs at the range. We have inter sub-club shoots as well as shoots with Broken Hill, Melbourne and Shepparton.
We shoot handguns at 10am, and rifles at 1pm on our designated days. Usually the day involves a BBQ or roast lunch followed by a friendly drink at the end of shooting.
If you are military minded or even if you are not, come out to our range day to meet all of our great members and have a good time.
